Pain to Relief

Nothing I could do when the pain I have lately strikes me. I could not move even walk because the pain is right on my hips. I really have no idea why and when this started to happen to me. Perhaps I have been over tired since these last two weeks, and I realized that I have not taken good enough rest. I really hope t6o get something as pain relief soon; however, on the contrary, I even get worse condition by the time I am walking.
Laying much on the bed, I try to change my position wishing the pain gone. Well, it works for awhile, and then it comes even stubbing as soon as it disappears. However, I must obey what the Doctor said. This afternoon I went to see him and he said that there is something wrong with my hip joint. I must confess that I don’t know much about it, but then the Doctor gave me a prescription on kind of medicine that is good for joint pain relief. I was also told to take some extra medicine or vitamin knowing that my activities are quite full. The vitamin or medicine could prevent my body from getting tired so fast. The tiresome could be caused by the over stress working of our nerves; you will usually feel your trapezium muscle hardened. This could possibly be the symptom of shingles when your nerve root gets a painful infection nerve. This condition is most often found in older people with deficient immune systems. And when this happens to us, it seems that our nerves get shortened and are really painful. The Doctor explained, this problem is pretty rare happening to young people, only when we feel it on our neck and shoulders, be sure to relax these body parts. I am so glad I am still young though I often feel this.

I wonder how I could forget taking my sport shoes from my house in the suburb. It takes too long and too far to get back to my hometown just for the pair of my Adidas shoes. My company really begs me to finish the new design sample and related report by at least in a week, meanwhile the summer holiday is just about two days away. As a matter of fact, the sample could be finished within these days, but the report needs more than the day. I am afraid I have to tell my wife to stay here in Oxon for this year summer holiday. I am sure she will understand.

Something that makes me rather happy is that if I could finish the report before next Wednesday, my boss will gladly let me have the holiday for the rest of the week, and he will give me extra money as compensation of my work during holiday on condition that my report should be perfect. That’s excellent! And I will surely make the best report for my boss; he knows that all my reports are always actual and factual. Lucky me, I have not told my wife about the delay.
Arriving home, I find my wife and tell her about it and she looks so happy. She is happy that we finally could have time for only pleasure, not for business travels. When I ask her where to go, she looks thinking hard, and so do I. We are so glad that we have chance to enjoy holiday but we have no idea where to go.

I ask her to check the holiday destination at the internet from my old personal computer. We both then searching words of ‘holiday’ and ‘vacation’ and find out many choices of interesting places and sites to go; several hotels, cottages and inns are available for the holiday packages. That’s right! We both prefer to get holiday cottages as this will give us more privacy. And now just to choose where to go.
My wife wishes to go to other neighboring country like Scotland or Ireland. Once she said that these coastal countries have beautiful beaches and fascinating panoramas to see. Places to see there are also fantastic; cottages Scotland and Ireland have are definitely comfortable for two. However, we both realize that our summer holiday will just take 3 to 4 days so that it is quite impossible to travel, to stay and to go back home from one of the selected countries. Therefore, we are likely to have to spend the time in regions nearby.

Devon is the region of my choice, and she agrees. Devon region has beaches at both sides and the panorama is also as nice as others. Devon cottages are commonly unique and give a feeling of home for anyone staying there. Well, this is it. We have decided the holiday destination and this will surely be Devon.

My Favorite Flip Flops

Yap, that’s right. Footware I like most are sandals and flip flops, or other people may call them slippers or something alike. Well, whatever they are called, sandals and flip flops are my favorite. How could I say that? It is apparently a little sad experience I had during my childhood.
When I was 9 years old, I was playing around with my dolls in my tree house made by my father in the garden one evening. My parents had actually told me to get inside but I was rather naughty and locked myself inside the tree house. After a while, I climbed down the tree house and walked toward my house. It was so unlucky that I stepped on a sharp piece of broken glass that stubbed deep in my left foot. I cried and my parents rushed out the house to find out what happened to me.
Shortly, I was hospitalized and told to rest my left foot. If I wanted to walk, the ground should be clean and tender. I was not permitted to wear my shoes and told to wear sandals instead, flip flops were more recommended. I did not like either sandals or flip flops at that time because they always loose and don’t stick well on my feet. But my parents did not run out of ideas; that day they gave me very interesting sandals in shape of rabbits – an animal that I like most. The next two days they gave me another pair of Mickey Mouse sandals, and on and on. And when my foot got better, I had sixteen pairs of new sandals and flip flops. And from that time, I began to like both, and I always wear either of them, wherever I may wear (unless school).
Sandals and flip flops always decorate my feet even to some parties – or more precisely to accompany me to the party because they are more comfortable and suitable with the situation. I like to wear dark color flip flops along with my casual shirt or T-shirt and my favorite dark blue jeans. I look just like a boy indeed, but I don’t really care about it. What I always think is that whatever I wear is comfortable for me. Don't you agree with me?

Beautiful Holiday in UK

Summer is just a few days away, and it means that I could feel relieved from my busy activities at work for few days. Thanks God. I could take a rest, enjoy my hobbies and pay more attention to my two little kids. And since my wife is also taking holiday on the same days, I guess there should be something we could do altogether. In my opinion, visiting my parents or parents-in-law would be a good idea; yet we did it last month on the weekends. Having picnics or visiting good-looking landscape seems to be perfect for my wife and me, but I am not sure for the kids. Well, I have to discuss this with her somehow.
She agrees with me to have the holiday together, and finally we are planning to take holiday cottages where we all could enjoy a lot of things together but we also could each favorite hobby. That sounds to be fun, and I just can’t wait for it! We start to check some references of the cottages from some brochures and leaflets, and get online to get more information. Then cornwall cottages seem to be perfect for our holiday because I know cornwall is a fantastic place. Since it does not take us too long to get the place, I would rather to drive my car there.
I am trying to know much more about this place. Browsing through the internet, I learn much about it. This is the most exotic holiday place with a lot of facilities for anyone staying or just renting there; a good place to take family and children on vacation and special moments such as birthday and parties. Related to holidays, there are also some other programs provided such as self catering holidays; it is good for the office meeting site and some presentation or training programs. Once we rent a room, an apartment or a cottage available there, we could then enjoy other facilities like swimming pool for the family or kids especially. I prefer practicing my swing on golf, and my wife seems to prepare her time for shopping. Wow, I am sure that when we are there, we would not feel away from home. All facilities inside the cottage are also out of world; special service for guests. This all kind of furniture is what I have been dreaming of, and all decoration and accessories are definitely supporting the sense of holiday; relaxing and pacifying. What a place!

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. What is most striking about this text if you read the entire text is the hope. But it is a speech of struggle because he spoke of the fact that black people in America were still not living in an openly free and equal status with all other citizens. Dr King did not loose touch with the reality of the tough lives African Americans were living in the United States. That is why this speech is so perfectly crafted and so perfectly delivered. It combines the harsh reality and resolve by black leaders and the African American population to make the world better for themselves and their children with a hope and an optimism that this was a country that would not put up with the oppression and discrimination that has kept black people down ever since slavery.

It is a speech that issued a call to action in the time frame of “Now” which was a call to action that many in the houses of power in our country took heed. They did take action immediately to get the process of renewal and repair of a broken social system moving in the right direction. One of the outcomes of this speech was the historic Civil Rights Act of 1964 which changed the fabric of the country forever in the legal restrictions it put on discrimination in every aspect of American life.

If it had not been for the “I have a dream” speech, the March on Washington on that hot and humid August day might have just been another in the many protests and events of the civil rights era. Instead it became an iconic moment in American and black history that changed Dr. King into a national hero for black and white people alike and energized a movement and a nation to take matters into their own hands and make thing better for all people.
